SOLIS is Spanish for ‘the Sun’ and is derived from the original Latin word – Sol.

The Sun was the centre of the ancient Incan civilization – signifying among other things - the power of the universe, the mystery of the great cosmos and celestial bodies and also the change of the earthly seasons.

SOLIS International is a Macau based casino services company specialising in Investing and Managing small to medium scale casino and electronic gaming operations.

OUR PEOPLE

Michael Jensen

CEO & Executive Director

Michael is the co-founder of SOLIS International. Educated with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Australia; and equipped with more than 20 years experience in the casino industry in the fields of Casino Operations, Casino Marketing, Compliance and Project Management.

Based in Macau since 2005 with various roles at MGM Macau, Crown Macau & the ShunTak Group. Previous positions with the Tsogo Sun Casino Group in South Africa and Operation Management roles in the Australian Club Industry.

Matt Hurst

Strategic Advisor Operations

Originating from New Zealand and with more than 20 years Casino experience, Matt has lived and worked in Mainland China and Macau for 13 years, and most recently spent 3 years in the Philippines.

Having performed many Casino pre-opening roles; most recently as the Executive Vice President of Casino Operations and Marketing at Okada Manila responsible for the pre-opening of the Resort’s Casino, its Operations, Mass Marketing and VIP Marketing strategies. Prior, he served various positions at City of Dreams Macau, Wynn Macau and Sands Macau.

With more than 30 well established internally recognized integrated resorts and casinos, Macau has become the largest casino gaming entertainment hub in the world.

Operating under one of the most rigorous regulatory regimes, we manage all aspects of daily operations, customer service, marketing, technical management, and back office functions such as IT, Accounting, HR and Audit & Compliance.

SOLIS VIETNAM

Having established an office in Ho Chi Minh city in 2016, SOLIS Vietnam is working with various 5 star hotels to invest and manage new Electronic Gaming establishments in the city.

SOLIS PHILIPPINES

SOLIS International has signed an exclusive agreement to invest in, and manage more than 300 Electronic Gaming machines in Manila. Currently undergoing extensive renovation, the hotel and casino is due to re-open mid-2022.
